Burke Completes Ironman in Lake Placid

On July 24, 2016, Burke Hutcheson, Triclean owner, put his fitness to the ultimate test by taking part in the 18th Ironman Lake Placid triathlon.
Burked clocked in at 12 hours, 47 minutes, 22 seconds which ranked him 115 in his division.
“Ironman in Lake Placid went extremely well," Hutcheson said. “I blew my time goal out of the water and was able to keep it all together mentally which, kid you not, is really harder than the physical part.”
Organizers estimated that 2,500 people took part in the 18th-annual race. Those who competed in the 140.6-mile, three-leg Ironman Lake Placid Challenge faced a 2.4 mile open lake swim in Mirror Lake, 112 mile bike ride, followed by a 26.2 mile marathon run.  All this has to be completed on the same day, and within 17 hours to qualify as a finisher.
Congrats, Burke!
